Objectives

• Identification of potential projects for promotion and development of basic infrastructure –Roads, Tourism, Ports, Industries, Technology Parks, Over bridges and so on, under public / private participation.
• Preparing of Project Reports of the identified potential projects in consultation with concerned administrative departments.
• Facilitating compiling of complete project reports of projects.
• Identifying development potential of Techno-Economic activities and providing suggestions and advice to the state government regarding such developmental programmes.
• Formulation of long term and short term plans and projects.
• Identifying projects for conservation and development of various coastal zones and recommending such works for inclusion in the state level planning.
• Taking measures for effective time bound supervision of implementation of projects for coastal conservation and development.
